Wild Arum

Wild Arum berries found on a walk in some woodland. Ground very dry, dog’s mercury and nettles wilted even in shaded areas. Small pools of water under willow trees covered with hard, dry mud. Stems of cow parsley looking like intricate wire frameworks. Brittle leaves and twigs crunch loudly underfoot. Dappled sunlight. Field of creamy- gold barley awaiting harvest in backgound.
